I found the website for Terrazza a while ago but had forgotten about it until recently. Saturday seemed like a good opportunity to try it out and potentially get some yummy italian food. When we walked in, the restaurant was completely packed. The room and outside was decked out in warm colours, which created a nice atmosphere on a cold night. We had a table outside, but it was completely protected and had a heater right above us so I found this to be a nice change in Winter. We were greeted by a really nice and bubbly waitress. As Chris mentioned, she didn't write anything down so we were given squid that was definitely not Gluten-free. Realistically, I could have assumed that bread was Gluten-free and eaten it, with disastrous results. So I wasn't very happy to say the least. I expected a lot more from the squid and was under the impression it would have more of a creamy garlic sauce. The squid itself was not that palatable, I could taste some "fishyness" which suggests it was packet/not fresh.
For my main I had wanted to order a Spanish chicken dish but was told this was unavailable, I then decided on a peppered steak and chips. There was a slab of meat with a gray-like sauce and chips. The chips were nice, crisp and salty. The meat however was very boring. The gray had a grand total of TWO peppercorns on it so there was nothing that really made me enjoy the steak. I ate about 1/2 of it before getting bored.
Although the ambiance and the waitress was nice, the quality of the food was not really up to standard.
